Yorkshire Brides was an idea born in May 2023, when we were a newly engaged Yorkshire couple, and we were looking to locate local suppliers for our wedding. As a fellow colleague in the wedding industry, I couldn’t wait to start my bridal journey. However there just didn’t seem to be one main place to look for local suppliers, that wasn’t a national-run magazine or website, or that hadn’t become redundant. We visited some great local fairs, but I was craving somewhere I could view local suppliers and inspiration in one place.

With a background in marketing, advertising, and events, we decided to create Yorkshire Brides, a platform that published, marketed and showcased local Yorkshire venues, suppliers, fayres and inspiration to fellow Yorkshire brides & grooms-to-be. The site has grown phenomenally in the last 4 months, and we have so much in store for the continued growth of our little community.

We found that there are so many amazing talented suppliers across our great county, and we are grateful that we have theplatform now to share these suppliers to a wider audience.

Since May, our dedicated site has grown to now host 180+ suppliers, from florists, to bridal shops, content creators to something special, we have a whole host of different suppliers on our site providing a range of services. We are also reaching 100’s of brides & grooms-to-be every day via our Instagram page, with a monthly reach of over 10,000 and growing, and we have built this through our pure passion for seeking out and promoting Yorkshire-based suppliers.

It is free to have a Basic Listing on our site, and free to list all your upcoming wedding fairs, we also have the option for a Premium Listing if you would like additional exposure. We also publish Real Weddings, and Styled Shoots for inspiration and we blog weekly on a variety of topics, including our own bridal journey, along with guest blogs, whilst also hosting features across our Instagram stories and highlights.

Along our journey we have found so much inspiration & local suppliers for our own wedding and we endeavour to continue to provide inspiration to Yorkshire Brides & Grooms-to-be!
